Body one of the advantages of having zoos, is to provide protection to some animals that are endangered. Why is it good for animals to be in zoos? Here are my eight reasons why zoos are critical to conservation:

Why Zoos Are Good For Animals?

We take pleasure in their antics, and it also serves to raise awareness about the loss of endangered species. Many zoos help find mates for endangered or wild species so that their population increases. Animals such as the tiger, pandas and african chimpanzees are kept inside zoos in order to preserve their species and prevent them from going extinct.

But We Still Need Good Zoos.

Zoos also contribute to scientific research. Zoos give them a place to be where they can have food and water and to be cared for when they are sick or in need of help. What we learn about wild animals in captivity can help us manage and conserve them in the wild.

Zoos Educate The Public About Animals And Conservation Efforts.

Zoos are helpful to save the wild animal from getting endangered which is a wise step towards restoration of ecosystem. While there are “better” and “worse” zoos (i’m including aquariums or “water zoos” here), a “better” zoo is not necessarily a “good” zoo. They also create awareness among the public about the nature of animals and make people friendly with animals. Zoos enable people to get close to wild animals and to know how they live. Second, zoos raise people’s awareness of wild animal protection.

These Breeding Programmes Help Protect Them And Release Them In The Wild So That Their Genetic Diversity Increases.
