Without that motion, there wouldn't be a magnetic field at all. Why is there life on earth and not at other planet? Same on the moon, really.

Another important component to leaving is eventually the sun will no longer produce radiation for life sustainability; Earth is well equipped as a planet and ideally placed in our solar system and galaxy to support life as we know it.
